PASTOR D EARL LEWIS

Pastor Lewis assumed the role of Senior Pastor of Greater Oak Grove in November 2003. He is a personable gifted preacher/teacher with a passion for biblical knowledge and Christian leadership. Recognized by peers as an excellent expostitional orator of God's Word. His gifts have afforded him opportunities to preach throughout the U.S, Europe and the Caribbean Islands. His voice can be heard weekly on KHCB (105.7 FM in the Houston area) with Powerwalk Ministries.  

Pastor Lewis is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the College Of Biblical Studies (C.B.S.), with a Bachelor of Science in Christian Leadership. He holds two Masters Degrees in Theology (Th.M.) and Religious Education (M.R.E). He also has an earned Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) with a Christian and Ministry Leadership concentration. Along with pastoring, the former Dean of Students and Director of Student Affairs currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at C.B.S. 

Pastor Lewis is also a published writer with two peer-reviewed works accredited to his authorship: Old Testament View of Robert Greenleaf's Servant Leadership Theory, Journal of Biblical Perspectives in Leadership, Regents University, 2019.

His experience as a midlevel manager in Corporate America, before accepting the call to ministry, has enabled him to initiate an organizational structure that supports ministry growth and meets state and federal requirements for a non-profit religious organization.  

His proudest attributes are his lovely wife Susan, their 3 children, Kirstie, Jordan and Caleb and shepherding the Oak Grove family's flock!
